Cassandra covers climate change and environment, agriculture, companies and general news in Mexico and Central America. She has reported from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil, El Salvador, Guatemala, the United Kingdom and across the United States on a range of topics. She is a multimedia journalist with experience in live TV, video, podcasting and editorial management. Since 2014, Cassandra has worked for Reuters.

Previously, Cassandra was head of social media for Reuters. As a senior editorial manager, she built a team of journalists around the globe and worked across departments to curate content, establish the organization's social media policy and grow a following of tens of millions.
She began her career in television as a reporter and morning anchor for Erie, Pennsylvania’s WJET. In New York, she covered Occupy Wall Street, Hurricane Sandy and the NYPD for Metro newspaper.
Cassandra is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and is an alumna of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She speaks English and Spanish.
